A shocking incident of brutality has emerged from Haveri, Karnataka, where a man was allegedly kidnapped, severely beaten, and urinated on by a moneylender for failing to repay a loan on time. The victim, identified as Manikanth, who runs a bakery, had borrowed Rs 70,000 and was paying weekly interest. He was reportedly held captive for four days, during which he was allegedly tortured and branded with cigarettes. He managed to escape with the help of a passerby and has filed a police complaint.
