Pacer Mohammad Shami has been excluded from Bengal's playing XI for their second Ranji Trophy match against Services. This comes after he was not selected for the Indian squad touring New Zealand. While the official reason for his exclusion from the Bengal team is not yet known, it is speculated that he might be suffering from an injury. Shami was seen with the team physio before the toss, suggesting his absence is injury-related and not linked to his non-selection for the national team.
