Retail inflation highest at 4.8% under Modi: Joshi

केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रह्लाद जोशी ने कहा कि खुदरा महंगाई 4.8% पर पहुँच गई है, जो प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 12 साल के कार्यकाल में सबसे ज़्यादा है। उन्होंने कहा कि UPA के समय महंगाई 8 साल तक करीब 10% रही थी। जोशी ने बताया कि यह बढ़ोतरी El Nino और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं के कारण है, न कि राजनीति से। उन्होंने BRICS समिट में भारत की मज़बूत अर्थव्यवस्था और मिली तारीफ़ का भी ज़िक्र किया, साथ ही निवेश और निर्यात बढ़ने की बात कही।
