Mother-in-law Accuses Daughter-in-law of Jewellery Theft

A 63-year-old woman in Ahmedabad has accused her daughter-in-law of stealing jewellery worth approximately ₹50.9 lakh from a joint bank locker. The complainant's deceased husband had jointly held the locker with their son and daughter-in-law. After the husband's death, his name was removed, leaving the son and daughter-in-law as joint holders. The daughter-in-law allegedly visited the bank on April 10, 2024, and removed all the gold, silver, platinum, and diamond valuables without informing her husband or mother-in-law. The family has lodged a complaint with the Vasna police.

अहमदाबाद में एक 63 साल की महिला ने अपनी बहू पर एक ज्वाइंट बैंक लॉकर से करीब ₹50.9 लाख के गहने चुराने का आरोप लगाया है। शिकायतकर्ता के पति का यह लॉकर उनके बेटे और बहू के साथ ज्वाइंट था। पति की मौत के बाद उनका नाम हटा दिया गया, जिससे बेटा और बहू ज्वाइंट होल्डर रह गए। आरोप है कि बहू 10 अप्रैल 2024 को बैंक गई और अपने पति या सास को बताए बिना सारा सोना, चांदी, प्लैटिनम और हीरे के कीमती सामान निकाल लिए। परिवार ने वासना पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई है।
