Bengaluru Police Rescue 529 Child Labourers

Bengaluru City Police rescued 529 child labourers and registered 105 cases against employers during a special operation on Saturday, September 12. Surprise inspections were conducted at over 6,000 commercial and industrial establishments across the city. The rescued children were taken into care for further action. Cases were booked under the Child and Adolescent Labour Act and Juvenile Justice Act. The police stated that action against establishments employing children will continue.

बेंगलुरु पुलिस ने शनिवार, 12 सितंबर को एक खास ऑपरेशन में 529 बाल मजदूरों को बचाया और मालिकों के खिलाफ 105 केस दर्ज किए। शहर भर में 6,000 से ज़्यादा दुकानों और फैक्ट्रियों में अचानक जांच की गई। बचाए गए बच्चों को आगे की कार्रवाई के लिए देखभाल में रखा गया है। बाल एवं किशोर श्रम अधिनियम और जुवेनाइल जस्टिस एक्ट के तहत मामले दर्ज किए गए। पुलिस ने कहा कि बच्चों को काम पर रखने वालों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।
