Tata Sons Recommends Five-Year Term For Chandrasekaran

Tata Sons' nomination and remuneration committee unanimously recommended a fresh five-year term for N Chandrasekaran, urging him to reconsider his decision not to seek reappointment. This move predates the RBI's directive on NBFC regulations. The committee met on September 3 after Chandrasekaran's letter stating he would not offer himself for reappointment. The full board considered the proposal on September 17. If ratified by shareholders, Chandrasekaran will lead Tata Sons until 2032.

टाटा संस की नॉमिनेशन एंड रेमुनरेशन कमेटी ने एन चंद्रशेखरन को एक और पांच साल के लिए चेयरमैन बनाने की सिफारिश की है। कमेटी ने उनसे अपना फैसला बदलने का आग्रह किया है। यह फैसला RBI के NBFC नियमों से पहले आया है। चंद्रशेखरन ने खुद को दोबारा नॉमिनेट न करने की बात कही थी। अगर शेयरहोल्डर इसे मंजूरी देते हैं, तो वे 2032 तक टाटा संस के प्रमुख बने रहेंगे।
