Kerala HC Stays FIR Against Ex-CM Pinarayi Vijayan In CMRL Pay-off Case

The Kerala High Court has stayed a Single Judge order that directed the registration of an FIR against former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his relatives in the CMRL pay-off case. A Bench of Justices K. Natarajan and Johnson John also suspended the FIRs registered by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau and their ongoing probe. The court admitted appeals filed by Vijayan and others against the Single Judge's order, stating the matter requires detailed consideration.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन और उनके रिश्तेदारों के खिलाफ CMRL रिश्वत मामले में FIR दर्ज करने का आदेश देने वाले सिंगल जज के आदेश पर रोक लगा दी है। जस्टिस के. नटराजन और जस्टिस जॉनसन जॉन की बेंच ने विजिलेंस एंड एंटी-करप्शन ब्यूरो द्वारा दर्ज की गई FIR और उनकी चल रही जांच को भी निलंबित कर दिया है। कोर्ट ने सिंगल जज के आदेश के खिलाफ विजयन और अन्य द्वारा दायर अपीलों को स्वीकार कर लिया और कहा कि इस मामले पर विस्तृत विचार की आवश्यकता है।
