Salman Khan's war-based film 'Matrubhoomi: War Rest in Peace', previously facing government approval issues due to its India-China war theme, has now received a NOC from the Defence and Information & Broadcasting ministries. The film is set to be presented to the CBFC this week for certification. Makers are considering a Diwali or Christmas release, potentially clashing with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Ramayana' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'King'. However, official confirmation on the release date is still pending.
