US House To Vote On Russia Sanctions Bill

The US House of Representatives is set to vote next week on a bill that could impose tougher sanctions on Russia. If passed, the legislation would grant President Donald Trump increased authority to levy sanctions on Russia, including buyers of its oil and gas. The bill also proposes extending existing sanctions currently in place against Iran.

अगले हफ़्ते अमेरिकी हाउस ऑफ रिप्रेजेंटेटिव्स रूस पर और सख़्त पाबंदियाँ लगाने वाले एक बिल पर वोटिंग करने वाला है। अगर यह पास हो गया, तो राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रंप को रूस पर, यहाँ तक कि उसके तेल और गैस ख़रीदने वालों पर भी, पाबंदियाँ लगाने का ज़्यादा अधिकार मिल जाएगा। इस बिल में ईरान के ख़िलाफ़ मौजूदा पाबंदियों को बढ़ाने का भी प्रस्ताव है।
