GMC Maheshwaram Students Threaten Strike Over Lack Of Permanent Campus

The Hindu · india

GMC Maheshwaram are threatening an indefinite strike from October 22 due to the lack of a permanent campus and adequate facilities. Classes began nearly two years ago at a temporary site, and students are still awaiting relocation to the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) in Hyderabad. Despite meetings with officials and assurances, progress has been minimal, leading to boycotts of classes and clinical postings since October 12. The students seek written clarification and a time-bound action plan for campus infrastructure, accommodation, and training.
