Several South Indian film projects she was part of, including her Malayalam debut, were shelved. This led to her being replaced even before shooting began. Initially, this made her hesitant to accept South Indian film offers, preferring Hindi projects. However, she has since matured, viewing these past setbacks as matters of timing rather than anything else.
