Congress Leader Questions Owaisi's Muslim Leadership Call In UP

A Congress leader from Telangana has accused AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi of advocating a political strategy in Uttar Pradesh that he has not implemented in his home state. Mohammed Waliullah Sameer questioned how many independent Muslim leaders AIMIM has nurtured beyond its traditional strongholds in Telangana. He pointed out that AIMIM contested only nine of Telangana’s 119 Assembly constituencies in 2023, accusing the party of supporting the BRS in the remaining seats.

तेलंगाना के एक कांग्रेस नेता ने AIMIM प्रमुख असदुद्दीन ओवैसी पर उत्तर प्रदेश में एक ऐसी राजनीतिक रणनीति की वकालत करने का आरोप लगाया है जिसे उन्होंने अपने गृह राज्य में लागू नहीं किया है। मोहम्मद वलीउल्लाह समीर ने सवाल किया कि AIMIM ने तेलंगाना में अपने पारंपरिक गढ़ों से परे कितने स्वतंत्र मुस्लिम नेताओं को पोषित किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि AIMIM ने 2023 में तेलंगाना की 119 विधानसभा सीटों में से केवल नौ पर चुनाव लड़ा था, और पार्टी पर शेष सीटों पर BRS का समर्थन करने का आरोप लगाया।
