राजस्थान के स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों में बीजेपी ने शानदार जीत हासिल की है। सात में से छह नगर निगमों में डिप्टी मेयर पद बीजेपी के खाते में गए। एक सीट पर निर्दलीय उम्मीदवार जीता, जो कांग्रेस के लिए बड़ा झटका है। बीजेपी ने उदयपुर, अजमेर, अलवर, बीकानेर, भीलवाड़ा और भरतपुर में जीत दर्ज की। कुछ जगहों पर टाई होने के कारण लॉटरी से नतीजे तय हुए।
