German companies are increasingly viewing India as a strategic partner for manufacturing, research, and innovation, beyond just a consumer market, according to Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. He noted that German CEOs expressed this sentiment during his recent visit, highlighting a shift in perception. The minister believes the combination of German expertise and India's skilled workforce can reshape global views. Around 2,000 German companies operate in India, with many planning significant expansions in operations over the next two to five years.

वाणिज्य मंत्री पीयूष गोयल के अनुसार, जर्मन कंपनियाँ अब भारत को सिर्फ एक उपभोक्ता बाज़ार के तौर पर नहीं, बल्कि विनिर्माण, अनुसंधान और नवाचार के लिए एक रणनीतिक भागीदार के रूप में देख रही हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि हाल की यात्रा के दौरान जर्मन सीईओ ने यह भावना व्यक्त की, जो धारणा में बदलाव को दर्शाता है। मंत्री का मानना है कि जर्मन विशेषज्ञता और भारत के कुशल कार्यबल का संयोजन वैश्विक दृष्टिकोण को बदल सकता है। भारत में लगभग 2,000 जर्मन कंपनियाँ काम कर रही हैं, जिनमें से कई अगले दो से पाँच वर्षों में अपने परिचालन का महत्वपूर्ण विस्तार करने की योजना बना रही हैं।
