Former Cricketer Warns Rishabh Pant To Improve Game

Times of India · sports

Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has cautioned Rishabh Pant to elevate his performance to retain his Test wicketkeeper position. Jaffer believes Ishan Kishan has significantly improved and is now closing the gap on Pant, with Dhruv Jurel also emerging as a contender. Pant's place has been questioned after his exclusion from ODI and T20I squads and loss of vice-captaincy. Jaffer acknowledged Pant's match-winning ability, comparing him to Adam Gilchrist, but stressed the need to adapt as competition intensifies.
