Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has opened admissions for its PhD program for the Spring 2026-27 semester. To be eligible, applicants must hold a BTech, BE, BArch, or BDes degree from a Ministry of Education-funded technical institution. A minimum CGPA of 8.5 on a 10-point scale is required. इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ टेक्नोलॉजी रुड़की ने स्प्रिंग 2026-27 सेमेस्टर के लिए अपने पीएचडी प्रोग्राम में एडमिशन शुरू कर दिए हैं। संस्थान महिला उम्मीदवारों के लिए विशेष रूप से 'शकुंतला फेलोशिप' की पेशकश कर रहा है। योग्य होने के लिए, आवेदकों के पास शिक्षा मंत्रालय द्वारा वित्त पोषित तकनीकी संस्थान से बी.टेक, बी.ई., बी.आर्क, या बी.डेस की डिग्री होनी चाहिए। 10-पॉइंट स्केल पर न्यूनतम सीजीपीए 8.5 आवश्यक है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य इंजीनियरिंग और प्रौद्योगिकी क्षेत्रों में डॉक्टरेट अनुसंधान को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए अधिक महिलाओं को प्रोत्साहित करना है।
