Bond Yields Offer 10%, FDs 7%: Is Extra

While corporate bonds offer a higher yield of 10% compared to fixed deposits' 7%, investors must consider the risks. Bank fixed deposits are insured by the DICGC up to Rs 5 lakh per bank, providing a safety net. Corporate bonds, however, do not come with such insurance. Chasing the additional 3% return might expose investors to greater risk without the same level of protection.
