मद्रास हाईकोर्ट ने पुडुचेरी सरकार से पूछा है कि क्या वे सुपरिंटेंडेंट ऑफ पुलिस (SP) ए सुब्रमण्यन के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज करेंगे। उन पर महिला कांस्टेबल ने यौन उत्पीड़न की शिकायतें की हैं। एक पीड़िता की माँ की याचिका के बाद कोर्ट ने दखल दिया, और कहा कि अधिकारी को कोर्ट के दखल के बाद ही निलंबित किया गया। जज ने चिंता जताई कि प्रशासन शायद दोषी को बचा रहा है। DGP और गृह सचिव को कोर्ट को बताना होगा कि FIR दर्ज करने पर उनका क्या फैसला है।
