Delhi Cop Dies During Celebratory Firing

A 32-year-old Delhi Police head constable, Amarjeet, died after being hit by a stray bullet during celebratory firing at a family function in Haryana's Hansi village. The incident occurred on Tuesday night during a 'Jalva Pujan' ceremony in Sidhwan Khas village. Amarjeet was struck in the thigh and succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday night. Police have registered a case against two named suspects, including a Haryana Police officer, and several unidentified individuals following a complaint by the victim's wife. The suspects are currently absconding.

हरियाणा के हांसी गांव में एक पारिवारिक समारोह में जश्न में की गई फायरिंग के दौरान चली गोली लगने से दिल्ली पुलिस के 32 वर्षीय हेड कांस्टेबल अमरजीत की मौत हो गई। यह घटना मंगलवार रात सिद्धवां खास गांव में 'जल्वा पूजन' के दौरान हुई। अमरजीत को जांघ में गोली लगी थी और बुधवार रात उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया। पीड़ित की पत्नी की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने दो नामजद आरोपियों, जिनमें एक हरियाणा पुलिस अधिकारी भी शामिल है, और कई अज्ञात लोगों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। आरोपी फिलहाल फरार हैं।
