Election Commission Denies Chief's Solo Decisions in SC Filing

ECI has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court, refuting claims that Chief Election Commissioner D.K. Singh made unilateral decisions regarding the SIR of voter lists. The ECI stated that all decisions related to SIR were taken unanimously by the commission. This response comes after a petition alleged that Singh made 14 key decisions without the consent of the other two commissioners. The ECI argued that the petition was based on a newspaper report and lacked factual verification, deeming it non-maintainable.
