Rajasthan Claims Jaipur State Properties Across Four UP

Rajasthan has claimed ownership of former Jaipur princely state properties located in Agra, Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Mathura, prompting Uttar Pradesh to review revenue and ownership records. The claim is based on the 1949 Rajasthan Covenant, asserting that properties of the former Jaipur state outside Rajasthan passed to the Rajasthan government after integration. This has led to scrutiny of old documents and transactions, as many properties have changed hands or been developed over.
