Tesla has opened bookings for its Roadster in India, with the Thrust configuration requiring a substantial reservation payment of Rs 2.5 crore. Initial payments for the Performance variant are Rs 5.01 lakh, followed by Rs 45.05 lakh within 10 days, totaling Rs 50.06 lakh. The Thrust variant demands an additional Rs 2.45 crore within 10 days after the initial Rs 5.01 lakh. Production is slated to begin in 2028 with left-hand-drive models only, and an India delivery date remains unconfirmed.
