An Indian man staged a sit-in protest at Kochi airport after customs officials seized his iPhone 18 Pro, purchased in Dubai. Ajas Mohammed claimed the phone was for personal use and questioned customs charges, alleging officials demanded duty because he was carrying another phone. He stated he would not pay unjust charges and would remain at the airport until the phone was returned. Police have registered a case against him for interfering with customs officers' duties.

कस्टम्स अधिकारियों द्वारा दुबई से खरीदे गए अपने iPhone 18 Pro को जब्त किए जाने के बाद एक भारतीय व्यक्ति ने कोच्चि एयरपोर्ट पर धरना दिया। अजास मोहम्मद ने दावा किया कि फोन व्यक्तिगत उपयोग के लिए था और उन्होंने कस्टम ड्यूटी पर सवाल उठाया, आरोप लगाया कि अधिकारियों ने उनसे ड्यूटी मांगी क्योंकि वह एक और फोन ले जा रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि वे अनुचित शुल्क का भुगतान नहीं करेंगे और फोन वापस मिलने तक एयरपोर्ट पर ही रहेंगे। पुलिस ने कस्टम अधिकारियों के काम में बाधा डालने के आरोप में उनके खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है।
