Societies must now obtain a project management consultant's report comparing development options within two months. A minimum of three developer bids are required, with extensions granted if fewer are received. Developers must sign agreements within three months of selection, and projects must be completed within two years. Registered permanent alternative accommodation agreements are mandatory before residents vacate their homes, offering enhanced protection.
