An Israeli air attack on a residential apartment in Gaza City's Remal neighbourhood has resulted in the deaths of at least five people and left six others severely wounded. The strike on the al-Asala building occurred early on Saturday without warning, according to reports. The attack penetrated the targeted apartment and caused extensive damage to the multi-storey building, trapping residents under rubble. Palestinian Civil Defence crews worked to rescue survivors and recover bodies amidst ongoing Israeli drone and fighter jet activity over the area.
