TV9 Hindi · sports

Indian T20 captain Shreyas Iyer has set a new world record by winning the toss in 19 out of 25 matches he has captained. He surpassed previous record holders Darren Sammy and Salman Ali Agha, who had 17 toss wins each. Iyer also holds the record for winning 8 consecutive tosses, breaking MS Dhoni's record of 7. Winning the toss has often benefited Iyer, as seen in the recent T20 series against New Zealand where India won the matches after electing to field first.
