Recruitment Cancelled, Rs 1.5 Crore Fee Refund Demanded

An RTI activist has demanded a refund of Rs 1.5 crore in application fees from BDCC Bank after the recruitment notification for 104 posts was cancelled due to technical errors. Over 21,000 candidates paid the fees for posts advertised on July 21, 2026, but the notification was scrapped. The activist argues candidates shouldn't bear the cost of the bank's flawed process.

भर्ती रद्द, ₹1.5 करोड़ फीस वापसी की मांग

एक आरटीआई एक्टिविस्ट ने BDCC बैंक से 1.5 करोड़ रुपये की एप्लीकेशन फीस वापस मांगी है। बैंक ने तकनीकी खराबी के चलते 104 पदों के लिए जारी भर्ती नोटिफिकेशन रद्द कर दिया था। 21,000 से ज़्यादा उम्मीदवारों ने 21 जुलाई 2026 को निकली भर्तियों के लिए फीस भरी थी। एक्टिविस्ट का कहना है कि बैंक की गलती का खामियाजा उम्मीदवारों को नहीं भुगतना चाहिए।
