Sculptor's Woodland Cabin Evolves Into 60-Foot, Four-Storey Castle
Times of India · interesting
What began as a small woodland cabin in North Carolina in 2000 has transformed into a 60-foot, four-storey castle named Castle Mont Rouge. Sculptor Robert Mihaly initially envisioned the 14-acre property as a secluded retreat but the structure grew over two decades. After years of abandonment, the unique building attracted photographers and visitors, gaining an air of mystery. Mihaly recently returned to the project with plans to develop it into an event destination and vineyard, hoping to have it ready for his daughter's birthday.
