Water purifier firm KENT RO Systems has entered the clean energy sector by investing ₹250 crore in a new lithium battery and inverter plant in Noida. The company's new division, Kent New Energy, has an initial annual capacity of 3.5 GWh, with plans to expand to 10 GWh within six months. These energy storage systems combine lithium batteries with solar hybrid inverters to store power for later use. Products will be sold through KENT RO's existing network and online channels, targeting India's growing inverter battery market.
