Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited the iconic Bengali Sweet House & Pastry Shop in Delhi's Mandi House on Wednesday. Accompanied by his mother-in-law Sudha Murty, Sunak spent an hour at the eatery, enjoying chaat and sweets like papri chaat, aloo tikki, and rasmalai. A special request for masala chai, which was unavailable, led to an unusual arrangement. The restaurant owner's wife prepared the tea at their home across the street and brought it to the restaurant for Sunak. Before departing, Sunak and Murty wished everyone a Happy Navratri.
