Two Iranian Security Officials Killed Near Critical Chabahar Port

At least two Iranian security personnel have been killed in separate incidents along the country's eastern border with Pakistan. An officer commanding a women's unit in Iran's Basij paramilitary force was shot dead outside her home in Mehrestan district. Another officer was killed in a separate attack on a police vehicle in the same area. These incidents add to a string of attacks near the critical Chabahar port in recent weeks, with Iran blaming "terrorist outfits" funded from abroad.
