Gold Prices Surge Rs 4800 Ahead of Dhanteras; Gold ETFs See Decline
TV9 Hindi · stocks
Gold prices have surged by Rs 4,800 to Rs 1,46,600 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold in Delhi ahead of Dhanteras. Despite this physical gold rally, Gold Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) have seen a decline of about 4% in the last month. This dip is attributed to Middle East tensions, a strong US dollar, and high interest rates, pushing gold prices significantly below their record high. However, central banks continue to buy gold, and ETFs have seen increased investment globally and in India, suggesting potential future price support.
