Bollywood Actor Imran Khan Ordered To Leave India

Bollywood actor Imran Khan, nephew of Aamir Khan, has been issued a notice by Mumbai Police to leave India. Khan had participated in a protest at the August Kranti Maidan in Mumbai demanding the resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. He was briefly detained by the police. The action is being taken under the relevant sections of the Immigration Act for participating in such demonstrations while not being an Indian citizen. Khan has received the notice but has not yet officially responded.

आमिर खान के भतीजे बॉलीवुड एक्टर इमरान खान को मुंबई पुलिस ने भारत छोड़ने का नोटिस जारी किया है। खान अगस्त क्रांति मैदान, मुंबई में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त (CEC) ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर हुए विरोध प्रदर्शन में शामिल हुए थे। पुलिस ने उन्हें थोड़ी देर के लिए हिरासत में भी लिया था। यह कार्रवाई इमिग्रेशन एक्ट की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत की जा रही है, क्योंकि वह भारतीय नागरिक नहीं हैं और ऐसे प्रदर्शनों में भाग ले रहे थे। खान को नोटिस मिल गया है लेकिन उन्होंने अभी तक आधिकारिक तौर पर कोई जवाब नहीं दिया है।
