Man Climbs Onto Power Lines in Akola, Averting Major Mishap

A man climbed onto overhead electricity wires near a transformer in Akola's Tower Chowk, remaining there for nearly half an hour. Police were alerted and immediately reached the scene, contacting the electricity department to disconnect the power supply as a safety measure. This prompt action prevented potential electrocution or a more serious accident. With assistance from local residents, the man was brought down and taken to the police station. He appeared to be under mental distress and was later handed over to his relatives.

अकोला के टॉवर चौक पर एक शख्स ट्रांसफार्मर के पास ओवरहेड बिजली के तारों पर चढ़ गया और करीब आधे घंटे तक वहीं रहा। पुलिस को तुरंत सूचित किया गया और वे तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे। सुरक्षा के तौर पर बिजली विभाग से संपर्क कर बिजली की आपूर्ति बंद करवाई गई। इस त्वरित कार्रवाई से बिजली का झटका लगने या किसी बड़ी दुर्घटना की आशंका टल गई। स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से शख्स को नीचे उतारा गया और पुलिस स्टेशन ले जाया गया। वह मानसिक रूप से परेशान लग रहा था और बाद में उसे उसके रिश्तेदारों को सौंप दिया गया।
