Telangana to Hold Special Camps for Omitted Voters on Oct 15-16

The Election Commission of India will conduct special camps on October 15 and 16 across Telangana to assist voters who were omitted from the draft electoral rolls during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). Booth Level Officers will be present to help eligible individuals, including first-time and young voters, apply for inclusion using Form 6. The initiative aims to ensure all eligible citizens are registered. House-to-house verification will also be conducted to identify and enroll omitted voters, with lists to be shared with political parties.

भारत का चुनाव आयोग (Election Commission of India) तेलंगाना में 15 और 16 अक्टूबर को विशेष कैंप लगाएगा। ये कैंप स्पेशल इंटेंसिव रिवीजन (SIR) के दौरान ड्राफ्ट इलेक्टोरल रोल से छूटे हुए मतदाताओं की मदद के लिए होंगे। बूथ लेवल ऑफिसर (Booth Level Officers) योग्य लोगों, जिनमें पहली बार वोट देने वाले और युवा मतदाता शामिल हैं, को फॉर्म 6 का उपयोग करके अपना नाम जुड़वाने में मदद करेंगे। इस पहल का मकसद यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि सभी योग्य नागरिक पंजीकृत हों। छूटे हुए मतदाताओं की पहचान करने और उन्हें नामांकित करने के लिए घर-घर जाकर सत्यापन (house-to-house verification) भी किया जाएगा, और सूचियां राजनीतिक दलों के साथ साझा की जाएंगी।
