Leopard Skin Worth ₹1 Crore Found In Ambulance

Mumbai police intercepted an ambulance in Grant Road and discovered a leopard skin valued at approximately ₹1 crore. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Naseer Naseem Qureshi, was arrested. Four other individuals allegedly trailing the ambulance fled the scene and are currently being sought by authorities. The ambulance, which was gifted by a Worli-based organization, has been seized. Police are investigating to identify the alleged buyer and the circumstances surrounding the skin's procurement. A case has been registered under the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.

मुंबई पुलिस ने ग्रांट रोड में एक एंबुलेंस को रोका और लगभग ₹1 करोड़ की तेंदुए की खाल बरामद की। 27 वर्षीय ड्राइवर नसीर नसीम कुरैशी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। कथित तौर पर एंबुलेंस का पीछा कर रहे चार अन्य लोग मौके से फरार हो गए और फिलहाल पुलिस उनकी तलाश कर रही है। वोर्ली स्थित एक संगठन द्वारा दान की गई एंबुलेंस को जब्त कर लिया गया है। पुलिस कथित खरीदार और खाल की खरीद के बारे में पता लगाने के लिए जांच कर रही है। वन्यजीव (संरक्षण) अधिनियम, 1972 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
