Supreme Court Upholds CISF Officer Removal

The apex court dismissed a CISF officer's plea challenging his removal. The officer's performance had declined from 'Good' to 'Average'. The court stressed the need for consistent high performance within disciplined forces to uphold standards.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने कहा है कि जबरन रिटायरमेंट सज़ा नहीं है, बल्कि काम में कुशलता और अनुशासन बनाए रखने के लिए ज़रूरी कदम है। कोर्ट ने CISF के एक अफ़सर की याचिका ख़ारिज कर दी, जिसने उसे हटाने को चुनौती दी थी। उस अफ़सर का प्रदर्शन 'गुड' से 'एवरेज' हो गया था। कोर्ट ने कहा कि अनुशासित बलों में लगातार अच्छा प्रदर्शन ज़रूरी है।
