Parul Chaudhary Breaks National Record, Wins Bronze

Parul Chaudhary has made history at the Asian Games 2026 in Nagoya, Japan, by winning a bronze medal in the women's 3000m steeplechase. She shattered her own national record, finishing in 9 minutes 08.67 seconds. This achievement makes her the first Indian woman to complete the 3000m steeplechase in under 9 minutes and 10 seconds. Chaudhary, a DSP in Uttar Pradesh Police, previously won gold and silver at the Hangzhou Asian Games 2023.

पारुल चौधरी ने जापान के नागोया में एशियाई खेल 2026 में महिलाओं की 3000 मीटर स्टीपलचेज़ में कांस्य पदक जीतकर इतिहास रच दिया है। उन्होंने 9 मिनट 08.67 सेकंड में दौड़ पूरी करके अपना ही राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड तोड़ा। इस उपलब्धि से वह 9 मिनट 10 सेकंड से कम समय में 3000 मीटर स्टीपलचेज़ पूरी करने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला बन गई हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस में DSP पारुल चौधरी ने इससे पहले हांग्जो एशियाई खेल 2023 में स्वर्ण और रजत पदक जीते थे।
