Pakistan Opposition Claims Imran Khan Faces Exile Pressure
Times of India · politics
Pakistan opposition leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai has claimed that jailed former prime minister Imran Khan is being pressured into an exile agreement, similar to past deals involving Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto. Achakzai, chairman of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, made these allegations at a news conference, suggesting current ruling parties PML-N and PPP are involved. The claim comes amid political tensions and opposition concerns over restrictions on political activity. Achakzai also called for prisoners' access to meetings and for parliament to be empowered.
