Social media platform X informed the Delhi High Court that takedown notices purportedly issued by the Delhi Police against digital rights organizations Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF) and Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC.in) were fake. X's internal investigation found the communications to be fraudulent, and an imposter had submitted the requests in the Delhi Police's name. The platform has filed a complaint with law enforcement. The court recorded X's statement and disposed of the organizations' petitions, allowing them to return if X takes action.

सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म X ने दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट को बताया कि डिजिटल अधिकार संगठनों Internet Freedom Foundation (IFF) और Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC.in) के खिलाफ़ दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा जारी किए गए टेकडाउन नोटिस फ़र्ज़ी थे। X की आंतरिक जांच में संचार को धोखाधड़ी वाला पाया गया, और दिल्ली पुलिस के नाम पर एक ढोंगी ने अनुरोध जमा किए थे। प्लेटफॉर्म ने कानून प्रवर्तन एजेंसियों के पास शिकायत दर्ज कराई है। अदालत ने X के बयान को दर्ज किया और संगठनों की याचिकाओं का निपटारा कर दिया, जिससे X द्वारा कार्रवाई करने पर उन्हें वापस लौटने की अनुमति मिल गई।
