The rare 888.88-carat natural black diamond named Infinity has made its public debut at the Dubai Diamond Conference 2026. Diamond Trading NV presented the stone, classified as 'Fancy Black', with Brink's ensuring its secure transport. The diamond originated from a 1,138-carat rough stone acquired in 1975 and underwent cutting and polishing between 2022 and 2024. Experts noted its features are witnesses of its eruptive process from deep within the Earth. Natural black diamonds, also known as carbonado diamonds, are rare and form deep within the Earth's mantle.
