JSW Paints Plans 4-5 Year Debt Issuance To Refinance Acquisition Funding

JSW Paints is planning to raise approximately 30 billion rupees through the issuance of bonds maturing in four and five years. This debt issuance is expected to occur within the next couple of weeks. The funds raised will be used to refinance an earlier fundraising effort that supported the company's acquisition of Akzo Nobel India last year. This move comes as Indian companies increasingly tap the bond market for acquisition funding, driven by strong investor demand.
