Prashant Bhushan Calls For Regime Change, Cites Constitutional Right

Senior advocate Prashant Bhushan has strongly defended the opposition's demand for 'regime change,' stating that changing governments is a fundamental right and not a crime. Speaking to reporters in Delhi, he asserted that a change in power is necessary and legal, accusing the BJP of hypocrisy for opposing such demands now when they themselves protested for regime change when in opposition.

वरिष्ठ वकील प्रशांत भूषण ने 'सत्ता परिवर्तन' की विपक्ष की मांग का पुरजोर समर्थन किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकारें बदलना एक मौलिक अधिकार है, कोई अपराध नहीं। दिल्ली में पत्रकारों से बात करते हुए उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि सत्ता में बदलाव ज़रूरी और कानूनी है। उन्होंने बीजेपी पर पाखंड का आरोप लगाया कि जब वे विपक्ष में थे तब सत्ता परिवर्तन की मांग करते थे और अब विरोध कर रहे हैं।
