Supreme Court Metro Station Closed Amid Student Protests

The Supreme Court Metro station has been closed due to ongoing student protests. The Supreme Court Bar Association President Vikas Singh raised the issue, requesting access for lawyers, litigants, and the public. Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud stated the court will intervene if no solution is reached by lunchtime. This closure impacts daily commuters and access to the court premises.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट मेट्रो स्टेशन छात्रों के विरोध प्रदर्शन के कारण बंद कर दिया गया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष विकास सिंह ने वकीलों, मुकदमों के पक्षकारों और आम जनता के लिए पहुँच की माँग की। भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (CJI) डी.वाई. चंद्रचूड़ ने कहा कि अगर दोपहर के भोजन तक कोई समाधान नहीं निकलता है तो अदालत हस्तक्षेप करेगी। इस बंद से रोज़ाना आने-जाने वालों और अदालत परिसर तक पहुँच पर असर पड़ रहा है।
