Sitharaman Meets Ministers in Qatar

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held bilateral meetings with ministers from Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Jordan, and Nepal in Qatar. Discussions focused on investment, trade, and financial cooperation. Saudi Arabia expressed keen interest in implementing the India-Saudi Arabia Bilateral Investment Treaty. Sitharaman also invited Swiss investors to explore India's infrastructure sector and discussed UPI-NPI linkage with Nepal. The meetings aimed to strengthen strategic partnerships and explore investment opportunities.

वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने कतर में सऊदी अरब, स्विट्जरलैंड, जॉर्डन और नेपाल के मंत्रियों के साथ द्विपक्षीय बैठकें कीं। चर्चाओं में निवेश, व्यापार और वित्तीय सहयोग पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया। सऊदी अरब ने भारत-सऊदी अरब द्विपक्षीय निवेश संधि को लागू करने में गहरी रुचि व्यक्त की। सीतारमण ने स्विस निवेशकों को भारत के बुनियादी ढांचा क्षेत्र का पता लगाने के लिए आमंत्रित किया और नेपाल के साथ UPI-NPI लिंकेज पर चर्चा की। बैठकों का उद्देश्य रणनीतिक साझेदारी को मजबूत करना और निवेश के अवसरों का पता लगाना था।
