More than 1.5 crore names have been deleted from electoral rolls during the third phase of the Special Summary Revision (SIR 3.0) across India. Draft lists have been published for 12 out of 16 states and three Union Territories participating in the exercise. Andhra Pradesh recorded the highest number of deletions with 44.89 lakh names, followed by Haryana with 33.83 lakh and Odisha with 20.
