भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक के गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास ने कहा कि भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था मजबूत घरेलू मांग, औद्योगिक और सेवा क्षेत्रों में लगातार वृद्धि और श्रम बाजार की बेहतर स्थिति के कारण लचीलापन दिखा रही है। जीएसटी संग्रह और वाहन बिक्री जैसे उच्च-आवृत्ति संकेतक व्यापक आर्थिक गति का संकेत देते हैं, और ग्रामीण मांग में भी काफी मजबूती देखी जा रही है। दास ने आगाह किया कि पश्चिम एशिया का संकट ऊर्जा की कीमतों और महंगाई को बढ़ा रहा है, जिससे वैश्विक विकास में बाधा आ सकती है।
