The Ministry of Education has formed a three-member committee to investigate the alleged suicide of a first-year student at IIIT, Ranchi. Headed by Rajni Abbi, the panel will examine facilities, support systems, and grievance redressal, focusing on the circumstances of 20-year-old Aditya Kumar's death. This move follows ongoing student protests demanding accountability and the resignation of the institute's director. The ministry is also implementing interim administrative measures to ensure the institute's smooth functioning and student welfare.

शिक्षा मंत्रालय ने IIIT, रांची में प्रथम वर्ष के छात्र की कथित आत्महत्या की जांच के लिए तीन-सदस्यीय समिति का गठन किया है। राज़नी अब्बी की अध्यक्षता वाली यह समिति 20 वर्षीय आदित्य कुमार की मौत के हालात पर ध्यान केंद्रित करते हुए सुविधाओं, सहायता प्रणालियों और शिकायत निवारण की जांच करेगी। यह कदम छात्रों द्वारा जवाबदेही और संस्थान के निदेशक के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर चल रहे विरोध प्रदर्शनों के बाद आया है। मंत्रालय संस्थान के सुचारू संचालन और छात्र कल्याण को सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अंतरिम प्रशासनिक उपाय भी लागू कर रहा है।
