Gaur Chowk Traffic Chokes Daily As Township Outgrew Its Roads
Times of India · india
Residents of Greater Noida West's Gaur City, home to 1.5 lakh people, face daily commutes of up to two hours due to severe traffic congestion. The township, developed around 2010-2011, has seen a population boom, but its road infrastructure has not kept pace. Issues include narrow, broken roads, missing traffic lights, wrong-side driving, and encroachments. An underpass construction is delayed, and residents argue it won't be sufficient to handle the estimated 25,000 daily vehicles.
