PAU Scientist Rajinder Kumar Dhall Joins World's Top 2% Scientists List

Punjab Agricultural University scientist Rajinder Kumar Dhall has been recognized among the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University–Elsevier for the third consecutive year. Dhall, a principal olericulturist, is the first from PAU's college of horticulture and forestry to achieve this ranking, which is based on citation indicators. He has published 157 papers, garnered over 3,040 citations, and developed several improved varieties of peas, garlic, and cucumbers. His work has led to commercial agreements with seed companies, increasing the availability of his developed crop varieties for farmers.

पंजाब कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के वैज्ञानिक राजेंद्र कुमार ढल्ल को स्टैनफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी-एल्सेवियर द्वारा लगातार तीसरी बार दुनिया के टॉप 2% वैज्ञानिकों में शामिल किया गया है। ढल्ल, जो एक प्रमुख ओलेरिकल्चरिस्ट हैं, कॉलेज ऑफ हॉर्टिकल्चर एंड फॉरेस्ट्री, PAU से इस रैंकिंग को हासिल करने वाले पहले व्यक्ति हैं, जो साइटेशन इंडिकेटर्स पर आधारित है। उन्होंने 157 पेपर प्रकाशित किए हैं, 3,040 से अधिक साइटेशन प्राप्त किए हैं, और मटर, लहसुन और खीरे की कई बेहतर किस्में विकसित की हैं। उनके काम से बीज कंपनियों के साथ व्यावसायिक समझौते हुए हैं, जिससे किसानों के लिए उनकी विकसित फसल किस्मों की उपलब्धता बढ़ी है।
